Packed with useful information, the Explore Thames app will be your essential travelling companion whether you are at the source or the mouth of the River!

Make EXPLORE THAMES personal to you!
• Choose your default activities from Boating (powered or non-powered), Cycling, Walking or Fishing for relevant map information.
• We have selected default features associated with each activity, however you can toggle them on/off to make your Explore Thames app bespoke to your own interests!
Interactive Map
• Know exactly where you are with GPS location
• Browse the map at your leisure, returning to your location at the touch of a button
• Access hundreds of interactive “Points of Interest” including Boating Facilities & Services, Public services, Bridges, Locks, Slipways, short stay moorings, Emergency Rendezvous Points, places to eat, drink, stay and visit and a whole lot more!
• Points of Interest will display (where possible) telephone numbers, website, e-mail, photo’s and general information about that site.
• Unique “Recommendations Tool” – Found a great picnic spot or place to visit which is not on the app? Be part of the Explore Thames Community and recommend a POI entry.

• At less than 20MB to download, the Explore Thames App is not going to use up most of your devices memory downloading maps!
